Terms of Service

By using Shmove you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable.

What Shmove does

We scan WordPress websites for free and, for subscribing customers, move them to a fast, static, hosted version and maintain it. You always see and approve your new site before anything goes live. Nothing about your live website changes without your say-so.

The free scan

The scan reads your website's public pages only. It's provided as-is, to help you understand your site. It is not a complete security audit and does not guarantee your site is or isn't safe.

Subscriptions

The move itself is free. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. The Safe plan has a twelve-month term; details are shown at checkout. Prices for founding customers stay fixed for as long as they remain subscribed.

Your content, and what we're allowed to do with it

To move and host your site, you grant Shmove a limited license to store, reproduce, adapt for display, and publish the content you provide or that we pull from your existing website — your text, images, and other materials — solely to build, host, and operate your site as part of the service. This license lasts as long as you're a customer and ends when you leave; we don't use your content for anything beyond running your own site. You're responsible for having the rights to whatever you give us, and for any comments, edits, or other material you or your team submit through the review portal or editor.

Your site is yours

Your content and your domain remain yours. If you cancel, we hand your site over and help you move it. No hostages.

Acceptable use

Don't use Shmove for anything illegal, or to host malware, spam, or content you don't have the rights to. We can decline or end service for misuse.

Availability and warranty

We work hard to keep sites fast and online, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, TimeToSizzle, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.

Disputes

Most concerns can be resolved by contacting support first, and we ask that you try that before anything formal. If a dispute can't be resolved that way, it will be settled by binding arbitration on an individual basis, not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action — both you and TimeToSizzle, LLC waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. This section is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead, where eligible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA.
